What is your job, and how long have you worked for ZITON?
I have been working as a Technician at ZITON since the beginning of 2026. It is still early days for me, both in this role and in the industry as a whole, but I have already been getting hands-on experience with the practical, physical side of keeping the wind turbines running safely and efficiently, and I am learning something new almost every day.
What does it take to perform at your best in your job?
To perform my job at my best, I rely on a solid knowledge of the work process and safety rules, together with good communication within the team. Out on a turbine, everyone needs to know exactly what is happening and what is expected of them, so keeping that communication clear and consistent is just as important as having the right technical knowledge.
What is the most challenging part of the job for you?
The most challenging part of the job for me is staying one hundred percent focused throughout long hours of work, because even one small mistake could be very dangerous for me or my friends. It takes real discipline to keep that level of concentration up, especially towards the end of a long shift, but I know how much it matters for everyone’s safety.
What motivates you to go to work every day?
What motivates me most is my own development and my family. I want to provide a good life for them. Beyond that, I genuinely enjoy seeing how much I am improving as a technician with every job I take on.
What do you think is the most remarkable or exciting case you have worked on? And why?
I think a former task, a main shaft exchange, was particularly memorable, as it involved a great deal of lifting and plenty of mechanical work, giving me the chance to learn a lot. Being involved in a job of that scale, with so many moving parts and so much coordination needed, really showed me how much skill and teamwork goes into this kind of work.
How has your work developed you as a person?
This workplace has taught me to work in challenging and changing conditions. I have developed strong discipline, mental resilience, and the ability to work effectively in an international team, where I take full responsibility for safety, both my own and my team’s. Being trusted with that responsibility so early on has pushed me to grow faster than I expected.
Why is this your dream job?
In my opinion, the great, friendly atmosphere in the team is a big advantage. You can feel that everyone here is willing to help if you have an issue, and this is really important to me, especially as someone who is still finding his feet in the industry. Knowing that my colleagues have my back makes a real difference, both to how I work and how I feel about coming to work each day.
What do you like to spend your free time doing?
I love running, so this is what I like to do whenever I can, but spending time with my family is what recharges my batteries the most, and I appreciate every single moment of it. Running gives me a way to clear my head after a long shift, while time with my family is what keeps me grounded and reminds me why I work as hard as I do.
