What is your job, and how long have you worked for ZITON?
I am a Finance Business Partner, supporting the business with financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and process improvements. I work closely with colleagues across the organisation to help create transparency and provide insights that support decision-making.
I have worked at ZITON in two periods. The first time I spent six years with the company, and after some time away I returned in November 2023, bringing my total time at ZITON to nine years.
What does it take to perform at your best in your job?
Curiosity and close collaboration. I need to understand the operational reality behind the figures: what is happening in our projects and operations, what decisions are being made, and why a number looks the way it does.
When I am in close dialogue with the people I support, the analysis becomes sharper and more meaningful. Good data is essential, but the conversations behind the data are what help turn insights into better decisions and improvements.
What is the most challenging part of the job for you?
The most challenging part of my job is balancing the need for detailed analysis with the need to provide clear and actionable insights. There is often a lot of information available, and the challenge is to identify what matters most and turn it into something that supports good decision-making.
At the same time, priorities can change quickly, so it is important to stay flexible while keeping an eye on the bigger picture. I find it both challenging and rewarding to build processes, reporting, and solutions that not only meet today’s needs but can also grow with the business over time.
What motivates you to go to work every day?
What motivates me most is working with talented colleagues to solve challenges and create improvements. I enjoy being part of a business where no two days are exactly the same and where there is always an opportunity to learn something new.
What do you think is the most remarkable or exciting case you have worked on? And why?
It is difficult to point to a single project. For me, the most rewarding cases are those where I can bring together information from different sources, create clarity, and turn complexity into insights.
I particularly enjoy building reporting and analytical solutions that not only answer today’s questions but can continue to support the business as it grows and evolves.
How has your work developed you as a person?
Working at ZITON has helped me become more confident in taking ownership and driving change. Collaborating with colleagues across different functions has strengthened my ability to communicate complex topics, build relationships, and see challenges from different perspectives.
Why is this your dream job?
ZITON combines professional ambition with a strong sense of teamwork. People are passionate about what they do, and there is a genuine willingness to help each other succeed. I enjoy working in a business where I can understand the operational reality behind the numbers and see how insights and decisions translate into real projects and results.
At the same time, ZITON is large enough to offer exciting opportunities and challenges, yet small enough that you can make a visible contribution.
What do you like to spend your free time doing?
In my free time, I perform in an amateur theatre. I love being on stage and bringing characters and stories to life in front of an audience. Every production is the result of many people working together towards a shared goal, which is something I find incredibly rewarding.
Theatre allows me to be creative, challenge myself, and step outside my comfort zone. It is also a great reminder of how much can be achieved when passionate people work together.
