New headquarters in Horsens

ZITON to construct new headquarters

ZITON is excited to announce that it has commenced construction of a new headquarters in Horsens, marking an important milestone in the company’s continued development and long-term growth strategy. The project is certified with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel (Svanemærket) and being built by the Kolding-based company Daugaard Pedersen A/S, with architectural design by Mette Kirk from Kirk Arkitektur.

The new headquarters represents the next step in ZITON 2.0, following Macquarie’s acquisition of ZITON, the acquisition of our sixth jack-up vessel, WIND DISCOVERY, and the construction of ZITON’s new warehouse facilities at the Port of Esbjerg. Together, these initiatives underline ZITON’s ambition to strengthen its operational platform and build a future-ready organisation to support the continued growth of the offshore wind industry.

A modern working environment designed for growth

The new headquarters will be designed to support modern ways of working and to accommodate ZITON’s expected growth in the years ahead. The facilities will offer improved working environments, enhanced collaboration spaces, and updated office infrastructure, supporting both employee wellbeing and operational efficiency.

Commenting on the announcement, ZITON’s CEO, Thorsten Jalk, said:

“We are very much looking forward to establishing our new headquarters. This investment enables us to future-proof our office facilities and create a modern working environment that supports our employees and our continued growth. The new office will offer tangible benefits for our people and provide the flexibility we need as ZITON continues to develop under ZITON 2.0.”

Consolidating ZITON’s strategic base in Denmark

ZITON’s headquarters are already located in Horsens, and the decision to construct a new head office in the same location reflects a deliberate choice to build on the company’s existing foundations. The location provides a strong base for ZITON’s continued development, offering close proximity to the company’s facilities in Esbjerg as well as convenient access to key business partners and customers across the offshore wind industry.

The new headquarters is expected to be ready in the first quarter of 2027. Further details will be communicated as the project progresses.
