Together with colleagues, partners, architects, engineers, contractors, and craftsmen, ZITON recently celebrated the traditional Danish topping-out ceremony (“rejsegilde”), recognising the progress made and thanking everyone who has contributed to the project so far.

Announced earlier this year as part of ZITON’s continued growth strategy, the new headquarters is designed to support the company’s future development by providing a modern, collaborative, and flexible working environment for its growing organisation. The project also reflects ZITON’s ambition to create a workplace that brings people together and supports both employee wellbeing and operational excellence.

Commenting on the milestone, CEO Thorsten Jalk said:

It is about creating a place that brings our people together, strengthens collaboration across the organisation, and provides the best possible environment for our employees to thrive and succeed. Today’s milestone is a testament to the outstanding craftsmanship, dedication, and collaboration that have brought us this far, and I would like to thank everyone involved for their contribution.”

While the topping-out ceremony marks the completion of the building’s structure, work continues towards delivering the finished headquarters. Throughout the remaining construction phase, safety and quality remain key priorities, ensuring the project is completed with the same high standards that have characterised it from the outset.

Once completed, the new headquarters will become the home of ZITON’s next chapter, providing modern facilities that support collaboration, innovation, and the company’s long-term ambitions within the offshore wind industry. The headquarters is expected to be ready during the second quarter of 2027.
