Turnkey Solutions
Solutions for major component exchanges and larger campaigns
ZITON offers full service and turnkey solutions, which include all aspects and tasks related to major component replacements or large repair campaigns including jack-up vessels, equipment, manpower and planning & documentation.
For turnkey solutions and repair campaigns, ZITON collaborates with sub-suppliers to repair and upgrade components, provide facilities and other compulsory requirements and take full responsibility. For customers, it means less risk and only one contracting partner.

Vessels
Jack-up vessels fit for all purposes
ZITON is the largest dedicated provider of jack-ups for O&M assignments, such as major component replacements, blade campaigns or decommissioning. Our fleet is not occupied by long-lasting installation assignments, and the vessels provide us with the flexibility and versatility to operate at almost every offshore wind farm in the northern Europe.
Our fleet allows us to offer a cost-effective set-up, and our lighter and smaller vessels have low fuel consumption, providing our customers with a relatively low carbon footprint.

Manpower

At ZITON, we have crews with many years of experience from working on most WTG models, which is rarely seen in the offshore wind industry. Everyone knows exactly the sequence and details of operations including the imperative of ‘safety first’. The experience of our crew enables us to execute major component replacements with unrivalled efficiency.
In addition to the manpower of the vessel crews, ZITON also offers manpower in the form of specialised WTG technicians, who are trained after the highest standards, and they have experience and know-how from all platforms in the industry. Having our own WTG techinicians makes us able to deliver high quality and safe turnkey and full service solutions.

Our dedicated warehouse facility in the Port of Esbjerg enables ZITON to offer secure storage and professional care of major wind turbine components between offshore campaigns.
We do more than simply store components. Through inspection, preservation and maintenance, we ensure they remain in optimal condition and ready for rapid mobilisation when needed. Combined with our logistics, project management and offshore installation capabilities, Storage & Care helps simplify operations, reduce downtime and keep your assets ready for service.

Planning & Documentation
Practical experience in all aspects
Effective and early planning of operations and maintenance processes can help reduce lost power production by up to 60 percent. Our O&M professionals bring thousands of hours of practical experience in all aspects of O&M, from crew transfers to component replacements to health and safety measures.
Ask us to help you save time and money in planning your O&M strategy and processes. In addition to long-term strategic planning, we can help with: site-specific assessments, leg penetration analyses, maritime project management, lift planning and supervision. We also manage provisions of appointed persons, seafastening designs and MWS approvals.

Equipment
For all main components on all platforms
At ZITON, we can assist with lifting equipment for all main components on all platforms, including hand tools, special tools, and tension and torque tools. Our strategy is to have a complete toolbox for main component replacements across all WTG brands and models, and therefore, we focus on investing in new equipment.
We are focused on expanding our toolbox, and lately, we have invested in an APS system. This investment puts an end to controlling materials by hand-held taglines and allows us to handle blades up to 63 meters in the most professional way. The system fits all our vessels, which gives us full flexibility and enables us to meet our customers’ needs.

Decommissioning
Met masts, turbines and foundations
For offshore wind decommissioning operations, we offer tailor-made solutions for the removal of met masts, wind turbines, and foundations. All operations are executed with a high focus on safety, cost-efficiency, and as little environmental impact as possible.
Combined with the experience and skills of the ZITON organisation, our vessels offer a clear advantage over other alternatives. Our team handles the whole process from planning the safest and most sustainable decommissioning method to recycling the removed components.
