What is your job, and how long have you been sailing?
My name is Lars Østergaard, and I am Master at WIND ENTERPRISE. I have sailed since 1988.
I sail the ship.
I have the overall responsibility for the ship and the operation.
I am always on the bridge when we go to and from port.
I am responsible for the crew and therefore also the HR person on board.
What motivates you to go to work every day?
There is something special about standing on the bridge early in the morning and watching the sun rise.
You are on your way to something new and exciting.
The best part of my job is when we have to manoeuvre the ship into position.
It is a large ship that must lie in an exact position.
When we work together to make it succeed, it is really fun.
